Live Session

I SUPPORT

I used to often go to live concerts and I want to support culture and the arts without having to eat pastas for next days.

I SUPPORT

I think this initiative is amazing and I’d like to watch more exclusive live sessions. Or I’m the mum or dad of a musician performing.

I SUPPORT SMARTLY

I finally understood the principle of tax deduction and I know that for 40 € I will actually pay 22 €.*

Green Catani Live Session

The sound of Green Catani, vibrant, mystical and sometimes confusing, is the image of the woman behind it. Originally from Campinas (Brazil), she left her home for France, Belgium and then New Zealand before her path led her to Paris. After studying at the MAI (Music Academy International), singing and playing drums for Psych-Rock bands, she soon became part of the Pantin Plage group as a singer/percussionist as well as other musical projects. Her first solo album “J’arrose mes plaintes” will be available on the 28th of May 2021. First exclusive live performance only on Concertwithyou.com.

*Donations of at least 40 euros made to the King Baudouin Foundation give rise to a tax reduction of 45% of the amount actually paid, which is shown on the certificate. Following the COVID-19 crisis, the federal government (Belgium) announced on June 12, 2020 that the tax deduction for donations made in 2020 is increased to 60% of the amount donated. Transnational Giving Europe allows you to make a cross-border donation by supporting beneficiaries in twenty countries in Europe and to benefit from the tax reduction for donations of at least 40€.

Música na Bagagem

Música na Bagagem

The International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation is very proud to present “Música na Bagagem” an exceptional concert consecrating the end of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union and the achievement of the Creative Europe project « MUS-E ON STAGE ». The premiere of the concert will take place on this page the 30 June at 8 pm.

MUS-E ON STAGE is an educative and musical project carried out by the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Associação Yehudi Menuhin Portugal embodying the dialogue and exchange between the European countries and celebrating Portuguese language and heritage. The project is all based on a unique collaboration between classical Belgian musicians (the Brussels Chamber Orchestra) and traditional Portuguese musicians. Together with the famous Portuguese accordionist and singer Celina da Piedade, they have developed a musical repertoire celebrating the beauty of the Portuguese musical diversity and heritage.

At the heart of this project stands the ambitious creation of a children’s choir from 6 different European countries all singing a song from the Portuguese repertoire. Approximately 150 primary school children from Hungary, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Cyprus and Portugal received music workshops and learnt about the music repertoire and how to sing together one specific song. To achieve this, we have collaborated with the national organizations of the MUS-E programme created by Yehudi Menuhin in 1991. MUS-E is targeted at primary schools, mainly in Europe, which are facing the challenge of educating a growing multicultural group of children, many of whom come from migrant or disadvantaged families and are at risk of social exclusion or other societal problems.

MUS-E ON STAGE and this concert have been shattered by the covid-19 crisis. The concert will therefore be a real journey through music and image between Belgium and Portugal and the other participating countries, each bringing their cultural and musical baggage for a unique artistic encounter. Música na Bagagem is a symbol of the place of music in our societies and in providing unique places of dialogue between cultures.

Celina da Piedade

Anyone who has seen her on stage recognizes her immense charisma. Celina da Piedade is a composer, accordionist and singer, and has taken her creativity to the most varied contexts, from traditional music to a more contemporary and universal feeling, going through all of the richness of the “Cante Alentejano” but also the energy of folk and pop music. In 2021 she presents her fourth solo album, “Ao vivo na Casinha”, recorded live at the mythical Xutos & Pontapés studio, full of musical novalities and also new versions of some of the most emblematic songs from her repertoire. In the various on stage performing formats she presents us, whether solo, accompanied by her band or with guests (such as Rodrigo Leão, Tim, Vitorino, Uxia, João Gil, among others), accompanied by choral groups or even in her very special concert format “Celina da Piedade e as Vozes do Cante”, she draws songs full of soul and personality, which, on stage gain with her formidable presence and sense of artistic sharing.

Concert With You

Concertwithyou was born from the need to support musicians who can no longer perform on stage. The pandemic has exposed artists to precarity and giving a voice to musicians who are voiceless is one of the priorities of the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.

Every two weeks, you will discover three artists from different musical universe and genres but just as talented.

More than ever, we need your support to continue helping musicians, maintaining, and developing this platform. Every donation, no matters the amount, will help supporting music. All donations collected will serve at remunerating musicians to produce a video of a song from their repertoire.

Donations of at least 40 euros made to the King Baudouin Foundation give rise to a tax reduction of 45% of the amount actually paid.

Together we can help artist to blossom!

Enjoy the show.
